Master Doris Zdrenyk 5th Degree Black Belt Head Instructor
Doris Zdrenyk began training in 1990 with Master Jennifer Branch at the Las Colinas Sports Club, Irving, Texas. She quickly proved her dedication and became the first student in that program to advance to 1st Dan. During this time, Mrs. Zdrenyk was a tremendous asset to the growth of Master Branch’s program by assisting in every class and rarely missing a training session. As a result of her training she won the Eagle Award in 1993 and 1994. Also while in the United States, Mrs. Zdrenyk attended seminars conducted by Grandmaster Roy Kurban, Grandmaster Mike Stone and Grandmaster Steve Fisher. Mrs. Zdrenyk returned to Switzerland in 1995, and founded the Austin Black Belt Academy of Switzerland in 1997. She was the first black belt under Master Branch who taught and produced her very own black belt students.

Founded American Black Belt Academy of Switzerland as a branch of Roy Kurban’s ABBA in Arlington, TX.
Changed name to Austin Black Belt Academy of Switzerland in 2007.
